Decisions, decisions, decisions?

LIVE YOUR DREAM LIFE!

"My life didn't please me, so I created my life." - Coco Chanel

So, you have dreams. Haven't you?

But dreams are only dreams if you do not set up goals and start your first actions to reach your goals.

Style goals are connected to your lifestyle. For example, say your dream is to dance the Argentinian Tango. To make your dream come true, you need to find a dance school, buy special shoes to wear for class, and comfortable clothes that allow you free movement. Now we can tell that you have taken steps to become a tango dancer. If you stick to dancing, you will notice more awareness of your body, better balance. You will "build" your wardrobe according to your dance needs. This simple act of commitment to your passion will reflect in your style, body, health, and level of happiness and self-confidence. It is true about every single activity you do in your life.

Reinvent your style!

First, you need to know what you want your life to look like, let's say in a year. That means you have to set up the one-year goals that will bring you to your dream life. Following this, you are going to set up some actions for the very near future; goals and plans for the next month, three months six months. Your list will include things you need to start, quit, expand, or change. It is challenging and intimidating when you think about the desired outcome; that's why you need to break goals to small steps and go on it from day to day and week to week!

Golden past.

Now go back to teenage time. The skin was great, no problem with sleeping, physical activities were a pleasure, and we could eat more then, our weight with no consequences. Our bodies produced so many hormones that regulated everything; the strength, the memory, the beauty, and more. The first hormone's deficiency appears around thirtieth birthday. It is DHEA that decreases, lowering the level of all hormones according to Hormone – Health Network https://www.hormone.org/. "DHEA is an important precursor hormone. Precursors are substances that are converted by the body into hormones. DHEA is the highest-circulating steroid present in the human body. It does not have much biological effect on its own but is powerful when converted into hormones such as testosterone and estradiol. DHEA is produced from cholesterol by the outer layer of the adrenal glands. It is also produced in small amounts by the ovary and testes. DHEA is an important source of estrogen for women."

It was enough to be full of hormones to have plenty of strength. But only a hundred years ago; life expectancy was 38.3 and 44.0 years for both sexes combined. Nature was slowly pushing us out, leaving space for the younger and stronger generation. With modern medicine, vaccination, better food, and education, we no longer get married at age 14 and have five kids by our twenty-first birthday. We have access to education and a professional carrier. Our first child if we have one, is very often born after we turn 25.

Nowadays, if you are Canadian, you’ll probably live to celebrate your 82nd birthday. If you are a Brit, your 81st and in the USA your 78th birthday. These are the average life expectancies in one of these countries. But if you are a rich woman, you might outlive the average age by 14.6 years! I want you to really pay attention to these numbers.

If you‘ve never exercised before and generally did not take special care of your body and health, it is not too late; you can start now and significantly slow down the aging process, and sometimes even somewhat reverse it. If you are 50 years old now, you might have another 50 years ahead of you. So, which do you prefer to be; healthy, wealthy, and happy or… the choice is yours.
